Vibrant Flowers

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix and white paper
  1. Paint flowers overlapping with one another
  2. Paint stems below the flowers into a vase
  3. Display for the Spring season!

3-D Flowers

Materials Needed: empty toilet paper rolls, construction paper, scissors, glue, and Kwik Stix

  1. Paint empty toilet paper rolls with Kwik Stix
  2. Cut petals of flowers with construction paper
  3. Glue onto the empty toilet paper rolls and display on a table

 Cardboard Tulips

Materials Needed: cardboard, Kwik Stix, chickpeas, and glue

  1. Fold pieces of cardboard into a tulip shape
  2. Paint a spring background onto a square piece of cardboard
  3. Glue the folded tulips onto the cardboard
  4. Sort chickpeas into the tulip shapes

Shoe Box Flowers

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix, paper, scissors, glue, shoe box, screw driver, and flowers

  1. Fold a white piece of paper onto the top of the shoe boxes
  2. Poke holes into the paper with a screw driver
  3. Stick the flowers stems into the holes in the box
  4. Draw a vase with Kwik Stix and paint blue to resemble flowers in a vase of water

Flower Branches

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix, paper, colored tissue paper, and glue

  1. Paint white paper with Kwik Stix
  2. Paint a tree branch onto the paper
  3. Rip tiny pieces of tissue paper and crumple up
  4. Glue onto the painted branch and display for the Spring!

Paper Towel Puzzle

 

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix, empty paper towel roll, scissor, and paper towel holder

  1. Paint a flower with Kwik Stix onto an empty paper towel tube
  2. Cut the tube into pieces and scramble 
  3. Stack pieces onto the paper towel holder in order to form the full flower

  1. Start by drawing a dot on a piece of paper
