Q: Tell us a little about yourself! What is the inspiration behind your Instagram page?
I am a mom of two kids. I left my career in 2017 to stay at home with them. I started Glitter On A Dime right before that to share ideas on activities and crafts for us to do together while being on a smaller budget.
Q: We have loved seeing your page grow, and all the amazing projects and activities you share, and we learn so much as you incorporate play based learning into your posts! What inspired you to want to be a Brand Ambassador?
My daughter actually received a package of Kwik Stix for her birthday a few years ago. I had not seen this product before so we were excited to try it. My kids love to paint but we know that can get very messy. This product was something they could use any time they wanted to be creative. We started using them in more and more of our craft projects!
Q: What is your favorite product of ours that you have tried so far? Can you
tell us more about why you love this product, and if you have any tips or tricks when using it or favorite techniques? Is there anything in particular that has helped you blend creativity, play, and learning together with your children and any advice you can provide to others?
Our favorite product is definitely the Kwik Stix Paint Sticks! I love that they dry quickly. We enjoy making lots of paper plate crafts and this product goes along perfectly with making those simple craft projects. I also enjoy creating crafts that go along with a book that we are reading.
Q: We love that you incorporate amazing videos of your activities on your page! What is one of your favorite projects you have created using our products? There have been so many great posts you have made, and we want to know which stands out to you!
I love projects that use bright colors! If I have to pick just one, it would be the Paper Plate Flowers we created while reading the book Pinkalicious and the Flower Fairy. You can find all the details in this post https://www.Q: What’s next for you? Do you have any exciting crafts or activities planned for the Summer months ahead?!
We have been doing a DIY Summer Camp for the past several years. It is fun to pick out weekly themes with the kids. Then we do crafts, activities and snacks based on the theme of the week. We are hoping to kick off the summer with a Garden Themed Week and already have a project in mind for our paint sticks!
