Q: Tell us a little about yourself! What is the inspiration behind your Instagram page?
I’m a pediatric Occupational Therapist and a mom of 2 little boys who have tons of energy! We love to craft, engage in developmental play and explore everything the Bay Area has to offer. Working in a public school I’m constantly trying to think of fun learning activities to engage my kids based on their interests.
Q: We have loved seeing your page grow, and all the amazing projects and activities you share, and we learn so much as you incorporate play based learning into your posts! What inspired you to want to be a Brand Ambassador?
Once I saw how easy it was to set up a craft with Kwik Stix I was hooked! Most of my sessions are about 30 minutes and my kids would be so sad when they would have to let their projects dry and couldn’t take them home to their parents.
Q: What is your favorite product of ours that you have tried so far? Can you tell us more about why you love this product, and if you have any tips or tricks when using it or favorite techniques? Is there anything in particular that has helped you blend creativity, play, and learning together with your children and any advice you can provide to others?
Having the paint stix dry in 90 seconds was a game changer! Plus the short thick design is perfect for those little hands to grasp. I loved how easy it was to set up in my sessions and the fact that they were SO easy to clean up, I can literally use a wipe and clean up in minutes before my next session.
Q: We love that you incorporate amazing videos of your activities on your page! What is one of your favorite projects you have created using our products? There have been so many great posts you have made, and we want to know which stands out to you!
I think all the holiday crafts are my favorite! One of my kids favorites have been the toilet paper roll wind sock we did for Memorial Day. I love a good upcycle and using something that would normally be thrown away is not only environmentally friendly but financially friendly because we don’t always have a huge budget for all our kids in the schools. The magic stix mats also look amazing! I have my eye on the alphabet tracing one. My kids would absolutely love it and it would be great for working on letters in the school.

Q: What’s next for you? Do you have any exciting crafts or activities planned for the fall months ahead?!
Fall is our favorite time of the year! We have a great Halloween ghost craft planned that’s super easy for preschoolers that we think the Kwik Stix would be perfect for. I also have a pumpkin letter recognition/social emotional activity planned with the Magic Stix, it’s a great way to motivate your kids to write and work on fine motor skills. Plus, you actually get to write and draw ON your pumpkin and wipe it off after. The kids get super excited to do anything related to a pumpkin this time of year.
