Happy Earth Day! 4/22

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix, paper, and black marker

1. Draw an earth onto the paper
2. Make your earth come to life with a happy face, arms, and legs
3. Hang up to display on Earth Day!

Solar System Earth

Materials Needed: Kwik Stix, black paper, scissors, glue, white paper, pastels, white paint, and a toothbrush

1. Start by dipping your tooth brush bristles into white paint
2. Slightly dap all over the black paper, forming tiny dots
3. Cut a large circle from the white paper
4. Decorate in blue and green pastels
5. Paint a face onto the earth with Kwik Stix
6. Glue onto the black speckled paper

Earth Day and Colors

Materials Needed: construction paper (assorted colors), Kwik Stix, and glue

1. Cut a half circle from either a blue piece of paper or green
2. Glue onto larger piece of construction paper
3. Cut out small pieces of black and white paper to form the eyes and mouth
4. Glue onto the half circle
5. Decorate with Kwik Stix
6. Add vibrant colors and grow flowers/trees on top of your earth

Materials Needed: recycled pizza cardboard, Kwik Stix, permanent marker, pipe cleaners, hot glue gun, and sensory fillers (blue rice/green chickpeas)

1. Cut your cardboard into a circle
2. Draw an earth outline with your permanent marker
3. Paint inside shapes green and in between blue with Kwik Stix
4. Glue a black pipe cleaner to the perimeter of the earth
5. Optional: Sort out and match different colored sensory fillers to each part of the earth

1. Use your sharpie to draw a large circle
