Q:Tell us a little about yourself! What is the inspiration behind your Instagram page?

It's all about my son! I started doing more play to learn and sensory activities with him since he was 18 months old, then the global pandemic happened and we were home for months. He was never in school at that time but it just pushed me to wait longer to even consider it. When he turned 2 years old, I finally decided that I would start a page after many friends and my cousin really gave me the confidence to do it and it blossomed into something more than I can imagine. Seeing how my son has learned so much (he is 3.5 years old now) from everything we do together keeps me going and challenges me daily. I have always had a creative background so this was just another avenue to explore it since motherhood.

Q: It has been so great seeing the creativity in your posts and watching your page grow! What inspired you to want to be a Brand Ambassador?

I was already using Kwik Stix Tempera paint sticks for a while since I saw how mess-free they are and quick to dry! So after seeing how well my son liked it and then starting my page, I decided to reach out to the brand to see if there was a way we could work together since there is already a natural love of the product. Through that I got to explore so many more amazing products beyond the tempera paint sticks and my audience as well!

Q: What is your favorite product of ours that you have tried? We would love to hear more about why you love this product, and if you have any tips or tricks when using it? Is there anything in particular that has helped you incorporate learning and art together?

While the tempera sticks are used the most often in our home (love those metallics!), I would still say the wonder stix are our fav because they are so easy to wipe off, pastel pretty and still show up great on cardboard (we love to repurpose items and crafts). We use them a lot with our magna tiles as well since they wipe right off which is great for all the learning setups we like to do.

Q: What is one of your favorite projects you have created using our products? There are so many wonderful ones you have posted, and we want to know which creation stands out to you!

I love our Christmas flip insert with our metallic tempera paint sticks and of course the soap clay - he just loved making it and showing off to the whole family that he MADE soap! It's such a unique product! One that really stood out though was our Magnetic Mandala we made for Diwali, which we celebrate, using our magna tiles and wonderstix - the colors truly popped so vibrantly!

Q: What’s next for you? Any plans or activities planned for 2022?

I love to work alongside the seasons - making learning festive is something I enjoy doing for my son and he sure learns better that way too. I've noticed a strong interest in arts and crafts the last 6 months so I am definitely trying to come up with fun ways to learn while letting him explore his creativity (and challenge mine!). But sensory still has our heart so we always try to mix the two whenever possible!

We are expecting our next child later this year so it's going to be BUSY! And def lots of fun activities to prepare my son to be a big brother!
